SOURDOUGH MASTERCLASS

We have teamed up with Fresh Kitchen Cookery School to bring you a Sourdough Masterclass. Included in the masterclass:

  • Arrival coffee and brunch from the fabulous Kimbridge Barn kitchen team.
  • Learn the history of sourdough, why its better for your gut and overall health.
  • Step by step you will create two of your own family sized sourdoughs. One will be cooked to take home, the other will be created then cooked at home that evening. We will explore making French baguettes, focaccia breads and standard loaves.
  • All recipes, aprons, kit and guidance will be provided. No previous experience is necessary.

If you wish you can also take home a dollop of Fresh Kitchen’s very own sourdough starter named “Marjorie” for you to enjoy creating your own sourdough bread, pizza dough and sourdough croissants at home. Marjorie is 49yrs old in 2024! Please bring a large mixing bowl with you, or alternatively you can purchase a bread banneton kit for £15 each on the day which includes all you need for home bread making.

FERMENTATION CLASS

£60 per person

We are excited to bring you our first fermentation only class with guest chef Amy Levin and Natasha Beatty, Fresh Kitchen Cookery School. Come and find out why fermented foods are so good for you, the positive impact they have on your gut and overall wellbeing and how you can easily (and tastily) incorporate them into your daily diet.

After an amazing Kimbridge brunch we will commence our hands on class, you will create your own 3 ferments and learn all there is to know about fermented foods. You will make under the expert guidance of Amy and Natasha how to make your own Cucumber kimchi, salsa and kraut. What to Bring:

  • 3 x jars holding 500ml minimum to take home your fermentations.
