A unique venue full of rustic character
The Bugle exudes an atmosphere of timeless charm, featuring classic oak beams, exposed brick and wood detailing, oak tables, and a welcoming open fireplace that ensures a snug and comfortable ambiance. And for those lazy summer days, our delightful terrace offers picturesque views of the River Hamble, making it an ideal setting for al fresco dining while basking in the warmth of the sun.
For a more intimate experience, consider our private dining room, ‘The Captain’s Table’ which is located on the first floor, thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to 10 diners.

We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients to create some truly delicious and enticing meal options suitable for all dietary requirements. We change our menu seasonally to provide the freshest ingredients. Alongside our food menu, we offer local real ales, a delightful and extensive wine list and exciting speciality spirits.
Enjoy our great value Set Lunch Menu available Monday to Friday between 12-3pm. Indulge in comforting classics and innovative creatives on a menu that is ever changing, ensuring every visit is a fresh and exciting experience.
Packed with flavour and at just £20 for two courses or £25 for three courses, it’s a deal too delicious to resist!
The Bugle, Hamble
A magical way to spend your day
Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner all year round, The Bugle is the ideal place to eat, drink and relax while taking in the incredible views of The Hamble river. We are taking bookings and highly recommend doing so to guarantee a table.
Please note however we have plenty of space to simply join us at your leisure or pop in for a couple of drinks.

Private dining
Enjoy a more private dining experience for lunch or dinner with friends and family in our private dining room “The Captain’s Table”. Located on the first floor with seating for up to 10 diners and views out to cobbled streets and the River Hamble.
This area is also available for private use 7 days a week, ideal for business meetings, special events and gatherings.

Sundays at The Bugle
Our traditional and great-tasting Sunday roasts are now available alongside our a la carte menu on Sundays. Enjoy all the comforts of a home-cooked meal with the seasonal trimmings, roast potatoes and giant Yorkshire puddings and why not make a day of it with a walk along the attractive River Hamble.
